 CLUE #1

This scenic valley in the western most province of our mystery country is characterized by giant freestanding, sheer-sided hills called mogotes. The valley is also known for its many caves. The valley is very fertile and produces a range of crops. The tobacco grown here is processed into the highest quality cigars in the world.

CLUE #2

This colorful street is a pulsing center of local culture in the capital city of our mystery country. Resident artists show their work on walls and open-air galleries. The whole community participates in the creative scene, with music and dance in the streets, as well as visual arts. In general, our mystery country has a strong creative culture.

CLUE #3

Pictured below is a corner of the main square of one of the best preserved colonial cities anywhere. In the 18th and 19th centuries, this city was very rich, thanks to nearby sugar plantations and the African slaves who worked them. The city is full of grand buildings, some beautifully restored, many in disrepair. Even the cracked and faded buildings carry an aura of elegance and a walk around town is a feast for the eyes and the imagination.
