 CLUE #1

Pictured below, the 2nd largest mosque in the world is located in a coastal city of our mystery country. A famous classic movie is named for this city. This mosque is one of the few in the country that is open to non-Muslims.

CLUE #2

The northern fringe of a vast, rolling desert pushes into our mystery country along its southern border.

CLUE #3

This is one of many old Berber fortified towns or kasrs scattered around our mystery country. The large houses within the kasr are known in Arabic as kasbahs.
